Note: This information applies to Ruby Lane counter users that wish
to subscribe to our premium counter service with statistics. Ruby Lane
also provides a free counter service that displays auction totals, % of
items with bids, and other information.
By subscribing to Ruby Lane's premium counter service, you agree:
- Ruby Lane will provide you with premium counter services on a subscription basis in exchange for the current subscription fee, $25/year. Ruby Lane provides sample pages to let you see the service you are purchasing. To keep our administrative overhead low, we do not issue refunds. (But you'll love our service and won't want one!)
- Each counter subscription is good for one seller ID at eBay. If you sell with multiple ID's, you will need multiple counter subscriptions in order to keep your counters secure and use the premium features. If you use multiple seller ID's on a single site and do not purchase counter subscriptions for each seller ID, only the seller ID(s) you register at Ruby Lane will have access to premium features as a security precaution.
- Subscribers agree not to share their counter subscription services with others, for example, by sharing their Ruby Lane nickname and password. Subscribers agree not to share counter statistics not related to their specific auctions, for example, posting on bulletin boards that "according to Ruby Lane's statistics, Xyzday is the highest auction traffic day". This defeats the purpose of people subscribing for our service to get this information.
- If you change your seller ID at an auction site, you can also change it here and continue to use your subscription without additional charges.
- We work very hard to make Ruby Lane's service reliable and secure. However, Ruby Lane users indemnify and hold Ruby Lane harmless against any loss, expiration or deletion of information on Ruby Lane's servers and all loss due to failure or downtime.
- Ruby Lane respects our customers' privacy and never shares any registration information. We may quote aggregate statistics, such as "50% of our customers are female".
- At some time in the future, it may become impossible or impractical to support Ruby Lane counters at an auction site. If this happens, we may be forced to drop support for the site.
- Our services are available only to individuals who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, our services are not available to minors.
- Ruby Lane reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and to discontinue existing service at any time.
- Ruby Lane subscribers do not purchase rights to or ownership of any assets of Ruby Lane, including but not limited to page design, web site artwork, web site layout, features & technology, computers, or any other Ruby Lane assets.
